Dave and April met over 9 years ago at a high school reunion back in Texas. Even though they didn’t really know each other back in school, they became instantly inseparable after the reunion.

They both soon realized they shared the creative bug. April had run photography studios in Houston and in Boise. Dave was a multimedia designer for a software company in Austin. With skills combined, they knew they wanted to start a creative company. So they started up Avril Studios. Dave came up with “Avril”, which is French for “April”, because of his admiration for her.

Back in Texas, Dave and April were very involved in the local car clubs. They attended and photographed countless car shows, charity events and track days. They made an incredible group of friends throughout the community.

After visiting family several times through out the decade, they moved to Boise in 2016 for a new adventure in life.  They sold the sports cars and got a Jeep Wrangler to enjoy the outdoor life Idaho has to offer.  And, of course, they brought their talents with Avril Studios.
